Jaguar dealerships closing in Westchester County
Hi all,
I am wondering what is going on with Jaguar. They closed 3 sales dealerships in my county (Westchester county is in NY just north of Manhattan).
Only 1 former dealership (Now only sells Range Rover) still services them, but they are a disaster. They are in White Plains. Kept my car for days, couldn't even get it looked at. Wait time for a loaner is 6-8 wks. No call from service advisor to update on status. They are so behind - I am not sure what is going on. I see my car depreciating even more because of this. Who wants to buy a Jaguar when there are no options for service and sales centers are closing? What is happening?

Common all over the country. Both of the dealers I have purchased Jaguar's from have closed. One is now only LR.
The remaining dealers won't touch a car if over 10 years old so. Jaguar has abandoned their customer base.
With they make it? I just don't know. But I am not sure there will be ANY Jaguar's in my future.

Here in the UK, Jaguar have ceased all manufacture of vehicles; ALL. There are now only about 20 "dealerships" left, but they have no cars to sell, only used ones. Apparently they are to be the dealers for the new Jaguar all-electric car which won't be on sale until 2026. Also apparently, one of their UK factories is being altered so it can make this new Jaguar and also other all-electric models. For service of existing Jaguars, some of the dealerships have taken on roles as service agents, like my local dealership, who are now a BYD main dealer. As you know, this is a Chinese all-electric manufacturer.
So as far as "normal" Jaguar buyers are concerned, the long period since 1935 when Jaguars came on sale, is now over.
