Today I received my brake light from the UK. I have performed the replacment successfully
You need 2 people and some tools, especially a long, small 15 torx screwdriver.
Protect your roof with a blanket to prevent scratches.
Step 1: remove the covers from the left and right side with a pice of flat wood
Step 2: remove the 5 screws. After that you can lift your spoiler.
Step 3: diconnect the three electrical plugs (1x left hand, 2x right hand)
- below on the right side you can see the old (top) and the new plug (blow)
Step 4: Remove the 4 screws
- Now you can replace the old light from behind.
- Fix the crew on the screwdriver (e.g. with a duct tape)
- But the new light in position and insert the 4 screws
- Connect the three electrical plugs
- But the spoiler back in position and tighten the 5 screws
- checkt the correct position of the spoiler
- attach the covers L/H & R/H
- check the brake light :-)
I hope it may help you :-)
GGG thank you again for you help
Greetings from Austria
