Default Real switch under the blank switch on steering wheel

Dont ask how but i removed the blank switch (easy step) on the steering wheel which is ideally meant for heated wheel.
now inside the switch there is a normal functioning button which you can press and a led like other switches.

My question is , is there a way to activate this button?
Maybe..maybe..jaguar installed heated wheel and just disabled it via blank switch.
Maybe some setting in fuse. I know most probably it might be nothing but no harm in trying.

interesting, any pics? it could be a fuse as you say should be an easy check, or it could be a software switch - SDD required.

hm yeah i can see how jag would make a generic switch panel - cheaper in the long run, not sure if the heating element would be in the steering wheel also, it might be costly enough to have production controls in place. I would imagine the wiring loom would be there, that would be cheaper to incorporate rather than have x amount of variants for all the options, but they certainly would have controls so they can charge to activate - the switch being one, probably a missing fuse and more than likely a software switch. Is there anything like 7 zap for jag where you could dig down into the part numbers see if there is a difference in the wheel?
