Just checking if you might be working on something for the 2017 F-Pace 2.0D?

I think Chris has looked at it, not sure if we have any offerings yet. Email him at tuning@velocityap.com and he can give you more info.

We should be able to flash it, most likely it is on Flexray so would be our loaner tool, but not hand-held. Best thing to do is, locate the ECU under the cowl and take a picture of the label. If it is Flexray the serial number will end in FR.

I'd be surprised if the crank pulley's we have don't fit. The ECU should be on the JLR flexray system, so on vehicle release the ECU might only be bench flash for a little while. A tool company we use will get the software to flash via OBD, but that would require one of our loaner slave tools for flexray vehicles and not the end user VTech's we normally sell.

Interesting. Looking forward to how it pans out. Also, I doubt the downpipes from the F-Type will fit, but it seems like the packaging of the F-Pace could make the development of intakes a bit easier.

450hp is possible with a crank pulley and flash, a handful more with some freeflow cat and header work, but that puts you at the limit of the airflow capability of the existing supercharger.

As someone else has suggested, 450BHP is relatively easy and not too expensive: Jaguar F-Pace V6 & V6S Crank Pulley + ECU Tune

To get to 500BHP, it would probably be less expensive to look at a V8 engine swap, otherwise we're talking major cooling upgrades an upper pulley and even then it's running pretty well at the limits of the efficiency range. 500+BHP reliably and effectively on the V6 is going to require a larger blower.

How much would a bigger blower be.

450BHP is quite comfortable. The ZF is rated at 450nM but seems to be quite capable of handling more, I'm sure it shortens the life but we have hundreds and hundreds of people running much more power than stock without issues.

I don't know a helluva lot about the F-Pace but I believe it uses the same ZF 8HP70 gearbox as the rest of the JLR range.
If so it can easily handle 700 Nm of torque as that is what the 70 in 8HP70 signifies.

There are multiple variants of the ZF8HP series gearboxes. For example, the XE and XF V6 SC use the HP45. All the V8 & V6 FTypes have the HP70. I'm pretty sure the FPace has the HP45.

Really interested in your thoughts on the pulley/ tune a year later. I have the tune, and I love it. I feel like the pulley may have put some of the linear hiccups and offer more low end.
What do you think @Whitefpace thanks, T.
