I've recently upgraded from a 2014 XF to a 2020 F pace 3.0d.

The car looks to be in good shape at 200k km, but I've recently started to hear a metal noise from under the front of the car, somewhere underneath the engine. It goes away immediately after I give it some gas but returns when the car is idle.


Any ideas as to where I should look first?

 

Sounds like a metal rattle. Have it raise via hydrualic lift and observe where the rattle is coming from
