Default $0 down lease ?

Putting up a token fight on updating to an F Coupe and the TV commercials have attractive monthly deals but at large "due at signing" figure. The Internet suggests you can get zero down lease deals - anybody here actually followed through when getting their F ? They say there is no such thing as a free lunch so, any pratfalls warning welcome...

I'm in Austin TX so any "good guys" you can suggest to talk with before I just wander into my local Jag dealer would be appreciated...

Lots of us do zero down leases, just the upfronts of first month, license, and sometimes tax. My sales tax is spread into the payments, property tax is annual to the State.

Jag dealer, Greenville, SC. They were the best deals within 300 miles of me. Chase does the leases and while there are the specials advertised, the dealer finance dept has numbers for customized amounts.

I got $0 down and $0 at signing (just my signature).
Not going to work on 2017, but Jaguar is offering HUGE rebates on 2016 models, so the dealer even made my first monthly payment.
Shop around for a 2016 F-Type and you'll find a good deal.

I wouldn't throw a 2016 out of my garage ;-)

Any recommendations or "here's what I got" in the Austin area ?

Jaguar is not a bank, like Audi or Toyota. They are not interested in break even / losses on individual units to see more units on the road, and they don't make their money on the financing like Toyota or Audi. The latter just want units on the road. I am not contradicting other's posts in this thread, but the leases are all 3rd party from my Jag dealers in the area, and they don't make money off the interest. 0% down was not an option on my 2016, anywhere, in any way. It was like "*YOU* want the car... figure it out". I sorta grew up a saver, and never bought anything I couldn't afford. I hate being indebted to people, and the terms they offer are not terms I would accept. Pay cash if you can.

all leases can be $0 down leases....you just end up paying it in your monthly.

However there's a difference between paying $XXX with $X down and paying that same $XXX with nothing down (which is what most people want)

I've financed but never leased before. I generally allow the first buyer to take the depreciation hit but with Jaguar's extended warranty and often lower payments than a buy, etc I've mellowed on the idea of not "owning" the car unless I buy it at the end of the lease. My question really was whether there were "other" deals available if you ask, that don't include the TV advertised "due at signing". Sounds like there are based on the dealer finance office but I have also seen third party companies claiming the same across many brands. Was just looking for a little tribal knowledge so I don't end up trussed and bagged ;-)

I'm from Austin, but found my FType R in Dallas. I am really hoping that Austin JLR has a great service department.

Absolutely!
TV deals are actually terrible. I have leased my last 3 vehicles (2013 Infiniti G37, 2015 Jaguar XF V8 S/C and 2016 Jaguar F Type R) and only paid either first month's payment at signing (G37), first month's payment+registration fees (XF V8) or nothing at all, just my signature (F Type).
My payments were easily half of what the dealer advertised (in case of the Jag) and never did I pay "money down", "security deposit", "disposition fee", "tax on tax tax", etc.
It's all about the negotiation.
