Hopefully they find another way. If I drive it back home then I have to pay Cali Sales tax. So it would literally just be to fly there to sign paperwork.

I did it!!!! I finally pulled the trigger and they will be flying me out to California!!!!!! I haggled hard and plane ticket will be payed for! Cannot wait to take photos of the trip and post them! Thanks a lot everyone

Driving cross country to bring it home? That will be fun. Remember the breakin period so don't get too rambunctious! Enjoy and I hope you get great driving weather to really give you a chance to get to know the car.
