Default jag f type 3.0 v6 quickshift

Hi guys thinking of buyer a jag f type 3.0 v6 quickshift with no exhaust switch option will there be a way around making it sound any better can a fuse be removed ? Any help will be appreciated thanks

Will it have the active exhaust?

thanks for response I'm not sure if I'm honest just drove one last week and really enjoyed and decided to get one do not know much about them 🤔 Here are some of the cars details of helps

OK, sounds like a base V6 with limited options. Does not have a valved muffler and therefore no fuse to pull.

ok thanks once again for your response
is it better to go for a model with switch you think just so much difference in price also an anything be done to this model to sound a little better ?

Somewhere here is a mention of a complete replacement system that upgrades you to Active Exhaust (no button) for about $2k plus installation with factory parts IIRC.

Lots of things can be done. Just search the F-Type forum for 'Exhaust" threads.

Valved exhaust gives you an option to quiet it down, when compared to non-valved exhaust. When open, they are about equally loud.

I just replaced my non valved exhaust with a valved exhaust where the valves are always open. The valved exhaust is much louder with the valves open, it’s not even close. I would say it is about twice as loud.

how did you go about changing yours ? Also how do I know if the model I'm looking at is a non valves exhaust ? Also is this what I'm after ??

The valved exhausts have 4 pipes going into them and also the vacuum actuators that look like cat food. The picture you show is that is an active exhaust however at that price you may want to consider going with VAP custom exhaust.
