Default 1 yr. service performed

Dropped the car off this morning for the 1 year service. Thought y'all would like to know they found the water pump leaking. Replaced pump, tube, coolant, o-ring, oil and filters. I did not see any evidence of coolant on my garage floor.

Had my 1 year service a couple of weeks ago. The only recall was the passenger seat belt/airbag sensor harness issue from last fall. My car was checked and didn't have the mis-wiring problem.

I also asked about service bulletins and was told there were none. My car had/has no other issues.

How many miles does your car have? Mine is saying service in the next few hundred miles but i only have approx 8,000 miles on the car.

No recalls, or software up dates. 14825 miles.

These maintenance period monitors factor in driving conditions. My MINI would calculate intervals between 11,000 and 18,000 miles depending on how badly I was beating it up. When my commuting distance increased substantially, so did the service interval.
