Gotta be honest, I don't remember the plug codes. Might be able to find it somewhere, but VAP sells them and could tell you the specifics:

They come gapped to .024, so you'll need to widen that to .036

Thanks for the info....So they actually have you increase the gap as opposed to reduce it? That is interesting. On my other tuned /forced induction cars, I am always told to reduce the gap due to the increased pressures and spark. For example, on my 997 TT, tune adds ~100HP and went one range cooler and reduced gap down to .021. Not saying you are wrong, just counter to what I have done in the past. Not getting a tune yet anyway, or changing plugs so I have a while.

Appreciate the info !

The stock plug for the V8 is .041 so, they are indeed decreased.

What are the recommended plugs for the stage 2 V6?

Hey Unhingd, sadly, I don't think there is a perfect solution for the V6. The differences in the stock v8 and v6 plugs are the electrode tip, the gap and the ground electrode core material. I wouldn't worry about the electrode core, but the V6 stock plug uses a PSPE electrode configuration which is suited for higher boost in contrast to the v8 stock and v8 heat range 8 plugs which use a standard electrode. I couldn't find a heat range 8 plug that met all of the other V6 specs (no PSPE). I suspect you could use the same heat range 8 plug as the v8 and reduce the gap to .028 - .032 to compensate for the higher boost in the v6 stage 2. I'd be dumb enough to try it, but I wouldn't feel comfortable advising others. As I'm sure you know, swapping plugs in and out for fun in these cars... isn't.

I’m also on a VAP lower pulley and tune that I installed about a year ago. I wonder if there is an improved tune from the one I have now. It drives great, and I have no complaints though.
I've run the VAP crank pulley and tune with and without the colder plugs. I can't say I noticed any difference. In theory, I can now drive the car under extreme conditions longer before the ecu pulls timing.

I have a 16R lower pulley, sport cats, and vap tune with lightweight forged wheels and brand new mps4 and not matter what temperature and psi I will still spin them out the hole on the street . You do need r888r or drag radials in the rear to hook after mods. Now the track surface is always different and usually prepped so street tires might hook on the track.

iv had 2 different tunes from vap as the dealer bricked my first tune and the 2nd tune definitely had more punch from 4K to redline.
