Default '15 R to '20 R

I picked up a '20 R Thursday afternoon. This is the first time that I've stayed with the same model car without a major revision. It is that good. As others have noted in multiple posts the infotainment system is markedly better, and they are right. At less than a 100 miles I have yet to explore the limits of my new best friend. So no judgement on RWD to AWD. That test will happen in due time.

Went from a 2017 S to a 2020 R. Just about done with the break in and very happy.

After a day of driving with my wife she commented on my mature decision to get a quieter car. It was meant as a compliment, but that's not how I heard it.

Haha!
So how is the fun factor of the 20? How is the control? The RWD is easy to spit out the rear tires on turns which I do quite often. Is the trade off worth it?

Thanks for the kind words. Too early to compare the two. The '20 feels heavier, less tossable, but it shouldn't be that different. Once I can push it I will be able to make an informed decision.

I think you'll love the way AWD puts the power down. Kicking the rear out and drifting can be "fun" I suppose... not so fun when slamming through turns on canyon roads. I'd much rather have the confidence of all four "paws" digging into the asphalt.

Cool.
I'm in the same situation, maybe going 2017 R vert to 2022 R vert, depends on how much it'll cost by then.
Or maybe C8 Corvette vert...

I too am somewhat swept up by the hoopla of the new Corvette, but the test drive on the last one just didn't do it for me.... Something about the plastic body, and what felt like multiple personality disorder (the harder you push the pedal, it changes dynamics on the fly) just didn't feel consistent.

It's one heck of a car, and has amazing value, just couldn't love it.... Maybe this one will be different? (doubt it but there's always a chance).

I went from a 2015 S to a 2020 R. Renewed my love for this car. Infotainment is way better, extra HP and torque is intoxicating. The new seats allow more leg room and the ventilation is nice.
