Default 19" Rims on SVR - Advice Needed

Hello All,

I have been searching on here for awhile and read through most of the wheel and tire threads, but I have a pretty specific question and could use some guidance.

I would like to get some 19" forged rims, maybe from VS or BC, but I want them to sit flush without needing spacers.

Does anyone know the offset for the SVR 20" Coriolis wheels? I expect it would be the same as the other v8 trims.

Thanks!

OP if Aaron's specs above are what you're looking for, I would advise you to go to the aftermarket wheel thread and take a look at the specs others are running to get a better idea of flush. The above look very conservative.

I have to ask, why 19s? Plenty of people have gotten the flush look with 20s. 19's really limit your options.

If that is the correct rear offset for the SVR wheel, then the SVR rear suspension is wider than that of the other F-types ( hub face to hub face)

That is what I was wondering as well. It is frustrating how little info is out there in the SVR.

Exactly what I was looking for! Can you please share your source, I couldn't find it in my manual and feel kind of dumb for not seeing it readily online.

I like the look of 20s, but I feel the ride is a little rough. I am hoping with 19s I can get a thicker sidewall and smooth it out a little. Also plan to get Michelin Ps4s, love them on my other car

Are you going to sell your OEM SVR wheels? They would look nice on my IRR “R”

Probably not, like to keep the stock parts for when I eventually sell

I think you'll find that switching from the Pirelli's to pretty much anything else will transform your car in terms of handling, traction and ride comfort.

Very nice. From one Tar Heel to another, I salute you! I am in Durham currently, are you still in the Triangle?

For 5.0 V8 with 20 inch original wheel, the rear spec is 20 x 10.5J et38
For SVR the rear wheel spec is 20 x 11J et54
Last year a guy was selling his SVR Coriolis wheels from eBay and there were pictures taken from the back of the wheels. This is how I knew the spec.

Those are indeed the correct offsets. However, that means the hub face on the SVR rear end actually sits out another 10 mm further than on the R.

Nice! No, not anymore. Back in the Silicon Valley working in tech. I do go back every once in a while for basketball games though. Chapel Hill is a lovely place.

Will 19s even fit over the big brakes?

Yes. The V6S with the super performance brake option comes standard with 19” wheels. Some aftermarket 19” wheels, however, will not fit over the “big brakes”.
