Loss of physical buttons is a huge downgrade. a. Touch screens are lousy if you are wearing gloves b. My most used button is one to turn the screen off. I hope it is still possible to do.

+1 on the physical buttons. Reading through the pamphlet (thanks Malbec for posting) looks like there are some pretty cool new super metallic colors to take a look at. And are they bringing back the old school sideskirts with the bottom bit blacked out? prefer that to my body color skirts imho. Also some much needed lane assist and other blind spot enhancements. Looks good!

Funny how every car shown is LHD but it's the UK brochure!
Maybe they simply haven't built a new RHD one yet coz the LHD market takes precedence (I blame you Yanks!).
Also, I notice on page 67 that the SVR exhaust is dual N/S mufflers rather than the usual single E/W muffler on all other F-Types. Is this new for the 19MY SVR, or has the SVR always had dual mufflers?

The SVRs have always been like that.

Was really hopeful Apple CarPlay would be supported per other thread I saw. Can’t find it in brochure :-(

I was looking for that too. If i had to guess land rovers will get it this year and jaguar will follow a year later like usual. Can't understand why they do this other than they are running out of features to include to keep the model year new

I can relate, as I am flining my F-type, rev matching downshift then getting on throttle early to swing the tail about a bit for a nice power drift, while listening to a glorious sound track of exhaust... I too sometimes struggle to stay awake and really could use lane assist feature.

One nice feature would have been Head Up Display...

Very excited about spectral racing red. As an IRR owner I was crushed when that color was discontinued. SRR may be the same color with more metal flake.

It doesn't appear that too many '18s have been delivered or are in dealer stock and already'19? Most of the '18s Iv'e seen are 4 bangers. Is Jag really skipping '18 on the F-Type?

Very true @bjg625. My local dealer got 1 MY18 and then couldn't even get an order in for me. I put my deposit down first week of November and am now waiting for the MY19 ordering system to open up. Dealer is still telling me June/July delivery.

Huh. My dealer claims to have 13 '18 F-types in stock.

I did a quick search of western dealers and only one had more than 8 cars, the Hornburg Group in southern Cal. which is four separate stores that list all their inventory on each stores site. My local dealer has one but still has 10 '17s all R coupes. Again more 4 bangers and now a few 400's , very few V6's.

Default 2018 vs 2019 features

Hi,

I compared the 2018 brochure with the 2019 version mentioned at the beginning of this post. It was a tedious task so my comparison may not be perfect.

These are the features that I care about and that were standard in 2018 but are now optional in 2019.
  • 12-way electric front seats with memory
  • Electrically adjustable steering column with memory
  • LED headlights with signature DRL
  • Power fold, heated door mirrors with memory
  • Rear View Camera
Regards,
Bill

The brochure mentioned in this post was for the UK... what is optional and standard varies a lot between Europe and the US. Note that you can already build/price in Europe with the new 10-in infotainment system...
