Default 2.0L Oil Change

Sorry if its here, but I searched and found nothing. On my wife's 2.0L (2021) it appears it requires a traditional oil change using the plug beneath the car. Google shows other Jag models that use a 2.0 still using the extractor pushed down the dip stick tube. Has anyone tried using the extractor on a 2.0L F Type, or do I need to go under it for certain? Thanks!

My ‘18 XE has the 2.0l Ingenium, and I’m led to believe the extractor doesn’t work on that, so I’ve always had it done from the bottom. I use the extractor on my 3.0l F-type.

I had a 2020 2.0L F-Type and used the extractor every time, you can definitely use it without issues.

Interesting. My XE doesn’t have an extractor tube inside the oil fill tube like the V6 does. Did you run the extractor hose down the fill tube or the dipstick tube? I didn’t try that.

I put the hose down the dipstick tube and did it that way. It's always worked out really well.

Hmmmm thanks. I put it down the DS tube, and it went quite a ways. However, I only got a very small amount of oil out before nothing but air.....
