2 newbie questions
I've got a 2014 V6S, and have been having difficulty connecting an iPad via bluetooth to play audiobooks. I've tried the instructions in the manual (although they are contradictory) about connecting Vehicle->Device, and Device->Vehicle. The iPad only ever shows up as a phone. I've also gotten a "connection failure" dialog box. My iPhone connects without a hitch, and the iPad plays when connected to the aux port. Any thoughts?
Secondly, is there any way to display tire pressures, oil pressure, acutal engine temp, etc on the instrument cluster. I;ve dug around in the menus and manual to no avail. My other ride is a 1978 MGB, and I'm not used to having a computer think for me....
Thanks

I also have a 2014 V6S and I can answer your second question but not your first question (about iPad).
There is no way to show those things on the instrument cluster and your best bet would be to use an app like Torque on your phone via a Bluetooth dongle connected to the OBD2 port (such as an ELM 327), and mount the phone somewhere within easy viewing. I use a Scosche mount but there are many options and several threads about F-Type phone mounts.
With tyre pressures you would need to at least have TPMS fitted and working (I don't have TPMS) and even then I doubt if an app like Torque would show individual tyre pressures.

Oz’s 2014 is actually a year younger than ours - we’d call it a 2015. But it has the same infotainment system. Have you made sure Bluetooth is disabled on your phone when trying connect the iPad? I’ve never had a reason to try connecting my iPad, and my car is in storage for at least a few more weeks.
