2 questions: 1-Buying a 'factory reconditioned car? 2-Swapping seats?
I found a pretty good deal on a 17S with all the options I was looking for, except the performance seats which are a top 3 priority. It has the base sport seats, which I am not comfortable in no matter how I try to configure them. I'm 6'3", 220 pounds, athletic build and the side bolsters just dig into my lats and lower torso, pushing me forward in the seat.
Just curious if anyone out there swapped their base seats to the performance seats post purchase? If so, where did you get them?
This same car is also a "factory fully reconditioned to Certified standards" car that comes with a 6 year/100,000 bumper to bumper warranty.
Other than the stigma of the 'reconditioned status' which I know will affect resale value down the road, is there any other reason to not consider this car?
Thanks in advance for the advice/opinions.
