Default 2014 V8s Muffled Sounding

I own a 2014 Ftype V8S, It seems to not pop and crackle as much as other '14-'16 V8 Ftype's I have driven. And deceleration between 3000-4500 rpms produces almost a muffled sound like the valves are closed (even valves are set to open, or dynamic is on). I have tried removing the exhaust valve fuse with no change. Any ideas?

Mine had a vaccum hose come off. But lately there are less pops. '14 V6S

Hmm it was just at JLR. Im sure they would have spotted if a hose came off. But it does seem like something is happening with the vaccuum.

I used to get the same symptom once in a while, never figured out why, still happened with both fuse 43 and vaccum lines pulled.

Now I have 200 cell cat fitted and haven't had it happen once. While the muffler was off, I also played with the valve and they were free moving, and I believe it is wide open without any vaccum,

Weird weird weird.

If the car was just at the dealer, did they apply any software updates?
