I too had a misfire that I noticed after my tune ---- sometimes if I hit it really hard it would start missing and not running on all cylinders -- if I turned the engine off and restarted it would re-set and run fine again and randomly sometimes do the same thing again -- it was a bad injector that the dealer replaced ----- runs perfect now after 3500 miles

Did the dealer ask about any modifications made or noticed that the car has or had a tune on it?

Nope. I'm cool with the service adviser. Just told him that I have a friend that has a dyno and was curious about the output of the car.

I know right? Hopefully the dealership can do something with it. Also, noticed the power loss on 5800rpm?

Ignition timing dipped too. So that's why I need to have the dealer check into it.

Fr500 ------- no the dealer did not detect the tune ----- it is the v- max -- GSR tune --- had them bench flash at their shop ( suppose to be less of a chance to detect if bench flashed ) I'm happy with the tune

Don't know if dealers is reading this but my dealer sucks (JLR Newport Beach). They want to change the PCM which doesn't make sense since the car is running. And they don't want to honor the warranty due to the car not in stock.

Guessing not so much anymore. Looks like I'll hold off on the tune and go with VelocityAP when I do decide to go for it.

There's a good chance its not Newport calling the shots. If they opened a techline case with JLR corporate, then theres a good chance that its corporate instructing Newport to switch it out. Its not uncommon.

Can I ask a stupid question, since you tuned it and lowered it, does that mean any engine and suspension related issue will not be covered by the warranty.
