If you've never seen the HBO Documentary about Joe Namath I strongly recommend it.

Unlike Joe and his uncouth responses Dani and I are flexible on the dates. Btw Joe I was never put in timeout, I was angel when growing up, and still am just ask my wife "cough cough". No but all jokes aside I am actually flexible on dates so if September works I'll make it happen.

Joe is an ******* lol

And we want the Mrs. and you there. I have a number of places in mind when it comes to food - do you have any doubts? - and I will make some determinations at a later date and I might even take a straw poll, in spite of it being far too early.

The caveat is Maine + Summer + Friday and Saturday night with a group of our size = a challenge. You'll just have to trust me. Part of Friday's lunch:

If lobster with black squid ink linguini doesn't float your boat, how about lamb sliders with Greek herbs and a red wine and shallot reduction? Part of Friday's dinner:

Frutti de mar (also part of Friday's lunch)...I hope this will assuage any concerns.

Dessert. I swore to myself some time ago that I'd never post any food photos (on any social media) again so that's it from me!

I'll leave this thread to the Bicker Boys (Joe & Zee) and add something only when necessary.

Thanks so much for the compliment Zee, I can see your use of the english language is vastly improving and your observational skills are stepping in and stepping up.

While it’s all still quite tentative, after talking just now with someone who will be helping me “grease” the wheels (not to be taken literally) with one part of the 2018 Jaguar Wild Blueberry Bash I’m gonna shoot for (which doesn’t mean they are) the following dates in the following order:

August 16, 17, 18, 19
August 23, 24, 25, 26

September dates sounds like they won’t work for what I have planned, and I still have to hear from - although I did also just have a delightful conversation with him - someone who is integral with another part of the event and that won’t be until late January if not early February.

As of now the following Forum members have expressed interest, in the order they’ve expressed it:

Unhingd
Nati
DJS
DuhCar
Prophizee
Mbourne
MaineJagMike
Tman003
Ichi Ban
RickyJay52

99Gsp makes it sounds like anything other than Sept 5-9 won’t work.

slojotaa makes it sound that anything pre-September won’t work (but since we’re giving Joe this much notice, I [and Zee] certainly hope it will).

ShaunPA won’t know his or his wife’s schedule until a later date.

Best regards and Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
Jay

While either works for us, preferred date would be the Aug 16-19 dates.

I like 8/23 but I think we'd be ok with either.
