You're only 400 miles south of me...what's another 6 hours?

Based on what I am reading that's only a 4 hour drive for some. Anything's possible I guess. Throw me in this pool as a "maybe".

Even the Great Jay would have some 'splainin' to do coming up I-95 in VA. 20 over is mandatory time in the cooler.

You think so? Yee of little faith U. I’ve ‘splained’ myself out of some pretty crazy s%$^ (albeit not in VA. Of course I could always dress as a Doctor or Catholic Priest).

As ridiculous as this movie is it actually inspired my love of fast cars as a kid! Also inspired my appreciation of Adrienne Barboux getting in and out of cars

As for racing, LeMans cemented it.

The last lobster run put over 2000 miles on my clock, and the blueberry bash will do it again. Worth it.

Default "Badda Bing" NJ Canoli Run....One night only :-)

We had a run on Friday night in North NJ at Rails Steak House, a reunion of sorts, with Alan, Zeeee, myself and our awesome spouses, plus one handsome young man if I should say so myself...."not me...., my son LOL"! We had 212 friends of ours, actually knew the cow that gave it's life for Zeeeee's steak, the fish that gave it's life for my son's tuna appetizer, instead of Apple Tarts....gave Canoli and might I say filled to the middle. One picture is of Zeeeeeeeeee trying to open the speak easy door....which isn't easy and we gave the job to the right man (note my son does it faster than anybody I know...LOL).

Jay, having the lobster run allowed good people to meet, who would never have met in all probability. Having this night out in NJ reminded all of us just how nice it was, and proves......."Still is"! I have a saying from my Dad that "good goes to good" and this Lobster Run, the Friday night "NJ Canoli Run", and potentially our BBerry Run (hope to go).....keeps the dream alive....and once again...."The Good went to the Good"!!!

Couple of issues here...most upsetting first. So...the Jersey Boys ( and girls) have a get together and many of us seemed not to get the invite ? Hmmm. The idea of Blueberry Cannoli very much appeals.
Less important, I was looking at some touristic info on NB. Schediac has the "worlds largest" lobster apparently ( made of wood ? ) and of course we all know NB is a major producer of "wild" blueberries ( seems the smallish, low bush type are called "wild" and the larger, high bush are derisively called "blueberries"...the "wild" being much higher in antioxidants as we all know ) not wanting to get into a "who's got the biggest" here with Maine of course.
So, as we were rescuing the car before the R from its barn I spotted a moribund "wild" blueberry field and so for the uninitiated ( Jay , Michael are specifically excluded here) below is such a field.
Request for Jay...have you as yet located a restaurant which melds the wonders of flan with the excitement of blueberries?

Joe: Happy to see that the Lobster Run continues to evoke great memories and, importantly, friendships.

DJS: Surely not a fist-fight, but verbal barbs and a literary brawl (although Zee must work on his grammar). I’m also pleased to report that there’s more to that young man than that loud exhaust of his. And did you know that Zee calls me every day?

Jim F. & awd: Delighted to hear that both of you are intending to attend the 2018 Jaguar Wild Blueberry Bash - along with your significant (as in SIGNIFICANT) better half - as it just wouldn’t be the same without you.

I had lunch with a Forum member and his wife on Saturday and in spite of my taking it very easy on the drive portion of our afternoon, said member LOVED the drive...not so much the wife (where have I heard that before?)

Here’s the VERY best flan I’ve ever had, although it’s not blueberry. It does, however, feature Grand Marnier (only problem is it’s on Isla Mujeres, Mexico):

It's hard not to obsess about flan....but really Jay...2 forks !
A sacrilege.....flan should always be restricted to one flan, one fork. It's written that way somewhere.

While I must defer to your superior legal brain and experience I must also point out that I will always consider my wife more than me. (And, from what I know about you, you’re no different). The waiters at this joint on Isla Mujeres, Mexico know me all too well and if you’d have seen what dinner consisted of that night, sharing one flan for the two of us was more than ample.
