Default 2019 F-type R weird electrical issue

Hi guys,

New to the forums but not to Jags. I have a 2019 F-type R and was in an accident earlier this year. Bought the car back from insurance and starting the repair process. This last weekend I replaced the the dash pad / airbag and also installed a new battery. Since this time the car does not power up and the only thing that seems to come on are the hazard light switch and the fan emblem on the dial routinely turns on. The radio will also start to turn on and then just go black before booting up. Some things seem to work like the hatch button to open the hatch but the power hatch button does not work. If I get in the car with the key nothing really seems to change except sometimes the radio will do its thing for a second and then shut off. The battery is brand new and has been tested it is 100%. I have checked the fuses in the front left on the engine bay and all seem to be good. Is it possible I triggered some kind of security feature? As of right now the dash is back together and everything is plugged in as I have triple checked, but I am waiting on drivers airbag and the seats are still out. Can anyone give me some insight on where to look next? I am at a stand still and do not want to continue until I figure this issue out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cris

Maybe it is some sort of failsafe for not having the drivers airbag connected. Just guessing though

I don't know if the F-type has this, but there are some cars where the computer records that it was an accident and will things shut down for safety reasons. You have to clear that mode.

I would double-check every connector that was disturbed and ensure that they're fully seated. Another issue that can cause this is a poor or missing ground connection.

@C.Battaglia

You can give me a shout if you need any help. I'm London/Essex based and have the dealership diagnostics system.
