Default 6MT LSD Relacement?

Hey everyone!
Any tips on where to find a good replacement LSD for a 6MT? Mine is grinding non-stop, my
mechanic is having trouble finding a replacement one for 6MT and none of the shops here in AZ want to try and remanufacture my current diff. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Steve

I always have luck finding parts by using the part# in a Google search. That, or call a dealer.

My memory (which may be faulty) is that the MT LSD final ratio is different than the auto LSD - if so, it would be much more rare. I think there's a thread where we attempted to summarize the ratios of the auto open diff, MT open diff, auto LSD, MT LSD and eLSD. Unhingd may have that info handy, though he hasn't been around much as he's finishing his garage.

Yeah, we’ve got several AT diffs available, but none for a 6MT. It’s been a learning experience of what it means to have a car with low production numbers! I can probably order get a new one, but I’m choking a bit on the $2700 price tags vs.the $800 for an AT diff, especially as this is bundled in with needing a new clutch at just 22K miles. Ah, the lengths that we go to for our beautiful cars… 😂

Well...Maybe this will make you feel a little better...I have the E-Diff on the AWD R, and the price is $ 5700, discounted from $7800 and a $525 core charge...Oh and plus tax and shipping. It has magic inside

Good luck.

Diff ratios per the attached PDF from my copy of the Workshop Manual.
It doesn't say anything about MT vs auto so I suspect there is no difference.

Thanks everyone!
I'm still up a creek without a good diff. Does anyone know a shop that might remanufacture my existing diff? I'm running out of options it seems...
@Therock88 , that looks PAINFUL. Thanks for sharing, it makes me feel a little better! :-D
