Default 800BHP Barrier Broken - VelocityAP Billet Camshaft Set Announcement

800BHP Barrier Broken!

We promised you big things in store for 2026, and we’re coming out of the gate hot. For some time now we’ve been testing & tuning some new products behind the scenes for the 5.0L Supercharged JLR platform engines. Our Harrop 2300 Kit releases for F-Pace SVR & F-Type have been well received and for those who demand even more, this is where the next chapter begins.

Our Billet Camshaft set has been designed to optimize camshaft lift and duration for increased flow and power levels, unlocking power levels the stock components simply cannot achieve. However, these cams do not produce significant power on their own; our proprietary complimentary ECU calibration changes are required to unlock the additional potential.

+60BHP Peak Power
+10BHP Peak Torque (+20-30ft/lbs through power band)

This a fundamental step forward for high-output JLR builds targeting the 800+ BHP threshold.

Limited quantities are in stock & ready for immediate shipment.

Kind of sad on that last line, "cams aren't lumpy."

I wouldn't want to sound like a cammed-out big block Chevelle, but a little lope would be welcome lol.

I totally agree. A bit of cam lope is classic old school "bad ***".

You can make the cams lopey with a 'ghost cam' tune - have tried it but unless you're pretty much straight piped it's not as impressive as you'd expect and it starts to impact low speed driveability.

Doing it via VVT/timing?

I had someone tell me on my corvette that you could tune in the cam lope using just idle timing adjustments, as my old LS2 does not have VVT... I'm like no, making it surge is not a replacement for cam chop. With actual VVT you can simulate the change in LSA on an aftermarket cam that usually gives the classic choppy idle, it's pretty funny how it can be turned on and off in the new engines via tuning.

So, @scott@VelocityAP , is this an engine-out job?

No, it can be done while still in the vehicle, although not a quick/simple job. Would highly recommend professional installation.

Very much a 'your mileage may vary' question. Probably 15 hours or so for most techs, if they are much more familiar with the platform maybe less.

Also lash setting on these engines is via shims, so any adjustments require parts replacements if you can't get lucky and swap the existing ones around to get in spec. It's a time consuming process, not particularly difficult, but lots of repetition.
