What I want to see is a Caldera Red Project 7 go up for sale and see how much that brings in, most are Green. There is only 1 in the US and 3-4 Caldera Red Project 7s worldwide if my memory serves me right.

Sold for $230K! Maybe due to the color? I am a wee bit biased though.

Now that it is clear that the ICE will be phased out almost everywhere around the world in 20-25 years, I wonder what this will do to "collector car" values from muscle cars to 50's-60's-70's European sports cars?

Will there be a huge drop in values over the next two decades, or will there be a substantial increase in value?

If in say 25 years, most gasoline/petrol refueling stations have been converted to electric recharging stations, what will the future hold for driving ICE vehicles run on gasoline?

There are a couple of predictions I can think of to answer that question but it’s pure speculation on my part and they are certainly in no order of preference as I mostly loath them all.

1. ICE vehicles will be outright banned as a “danger to earth”. They will only exist in museums or hidden
2. Gasoline will be extremely difficult to obtain and make ICE vehicles prohibitively expensive to keep.
3. The moonshiners, as noted in an earlier post will provide the supply with option 1 above creating a situation where governments will try to hunt down the lawbreakers (worked so well for prohibition so what’s not to love......not)
4. Our generation will be long gone and our children and children’s children will not gave a s#*t about ICE cars and it won’t matter.
5. An alternative is discovered or invented that allows ICE to work without the “detrimental side effects” of petroleum based fuels.

There are likely many more scenarios I’m sure.
