Brilliant. Much good will come of it.
Spare parts available, make the Ftype rarer.
And some daft parent will learn a car like that is not the privilege of a 25 year old. Unless you want him in a wheelchair.

You can bet had the punk bought the car with his own hard earned money he would treat it accordingly.

Nothing to do with this terrible accident however many years ago while walking in a shopping area of London with a single narrow one way street we came upon an accident scene.

Looked like a pedestrian had been hit.

A police driver was driving the accident car at a high rate of speed along a short stretch of this road and then slamming on the brakes.

This procedure was done multiple times with all distances being measured each time.

A bit harsh. The kid might die yet.

This is a ridiculous comment.

Roof structure did not hold in a rollover and A pillar collapsed. I think it should have regardless of speed.

Until you consider how many he would have put in his own predicament

I don't know what you're talking about, but saying someone getting into a crash is brilliant and much good will come of it is beyond ridiculous.

This is disturbing, I thought our cars were much stiffer than this would imply...

Do you know what happens most of the times when a punk races another- he sends several innocent people straight to hell. Ruins many lives.
Below is a video of such a punk (and in this case he was a professional race car driver and older) not only does he kill himself and the Jaguar, but a husband and wife who had nothing to do with his childish games. Video is few seconds before the head on collision.

In the case above with the black Ftype in London- the most amazing/brilliant thing is that only the criminal is paying the price for his crime. How incredible is that??

This is the opposite of brilliant.

They are. Look at these pics from a slightly more sensible driver.

Chassis stiffness has nothing to do with impact resistance.

I think "slightly less stupid" would be a better description.

This happened literally down the road from where my parents live. The road is a 30mph limit, and under normal conditions would be impossible to have a crash like this. Must have been doing double that in a heavily pedestrianised area. I'm sorry the guy is injured, but I'm very glad his antics haven't harmed anyone walking down the road, that could easily have been my family or friends.

I’m not so sure the roof was destroyed in the accident - may well have been removed by the rescue crew using the Jaws of Life.

That makes sense. It would be pretty hard to pull someone out of a coupe if you were worried about their spine.

New details and video have emerged.
As you probably guessed, the cocky Jaguar driver was driving on the wrong side of the road at murderous speed, on a busy 2-lane road.
His passenger is fine, which speaks of some integrity of the Jaguar's build.
