Default adaptive dynamics fault

Hi guys,

I need help, I dropped my car off 2 weeks ago at a local Jaguar mechanic to have my upper shock plates replaced, and after replacing the shocks, the adaptive dynamics fault light came on.
to reset the light the shop unplugged the battery and turned it back on. after replugging the battery all the fault lights on the car came on the dash. he has had my car at his shop now for 2 weeks and told me he checked every positive in the car and changed the blown fuse. according to him, all the fault lights went away but the initial light (adaptive dynamics fault) he said that he is checking all the grounds on the car to see where the issue is. today he informed me that all the fault lights came back on. he said he was checking the grounds but doesn't know what is wrong with the car. does anybody know what I should do?
Obs: the battery is less than 6 months old. he said he checked the spring connector and plug as well as the ride height sensor.
The car is a 2016 Ftype R AWD with 53k miles.

The very first thing, repeat: the very first thing is to FULLY charge your battery. Do nothing else before ensuring that the multiple modules are receiving the power they need from the battery. Replacing the shock plates should have no effect the Dynamic system…unless the wiring into the shock units has been disturbed, but you report that this has been checked.

99% battery, drive it normally for a day or 2 and see if it fixed itself, it’s not ideal but totally safe to drive with dynamic fault (only).

your battery should be good, regular driving and a few on off cycles will reset most “soft” issue.

If problem persists then it may be hardware.

It has to be either the wiring to the adapative shocks or the ride height sensors. Either of those could have been disturbed as part of suspension work. I'd unplug/replug the shock connector a couple of times to ensure a good connection. I'd also check both the physical tie rods and connectors on the ride height sensors as well as the electrical plugs into the sensor box. I'm nearly certain that the OEM Jaguar scan tool will tell you exactly which component is giving you the problem, so that's an option if you can't find the bad part. Good luck, and let us know what the solution is.
