Powerhouse,

I just lowered mine with a set of H&R, got the factory 19" powdered coated gloss black and ordered a set of 15mm spacers. Can't wait to get the spacers installed and get that wheel well filled out. Did you get the camber adjusted with the lowered height or does yours have a slight negative stance? Mine wasn't adjusted so it's negative but it handles and feels great.

Car looks great. Any performance mods?

Mine has the rear diffuser that comes R Dynamic package, black diffuser, side skirts and front splitter, I've Maxton Design side extensions. As I said was going to paint mine but like the strip. The body colored design pack has body colored moulding around exhaust, side body colored skirts and body colored front splitter.

R Dynamic

Body colored design pack

The pinstripe looks good! Very subtle but a nice change.

Got the four wheel alignment done, that's all was needed. as for performance haven't touched anything engine wise, fitted straight through exhaust from cat back , happy with cars performance, afraid in Ireland now it's all about co2 and loads of taxes, have had plenty of high powered engines the last been xkr but due do the carbon taxes and the like doesn't justify the cost of higher engine, does what I want and looks the part.

That's a fantastic looking car, up there with the best I've seen. I really like the front. Pinstripe is better than paint IMO, easier to fix if it gets a scuff and fully reversible. i put one across the front diffuser.

Your XKR was one of the the best I'd seen as well.

Thanks Bruce your very modest having a car that looks as good as yours, still thinking doing the pillar wrap like you have, there lots of nice F-types out there and it great to see pictures of them.

The rear camber on the F-Type (and most other modern Jags) is not adjustable, so when you fit lowering springs the negative camber increases (ie goes more negative).
I have VAP lowering springs so not as low as some (7/8" vs 1.25" for H&R springs for example) and I haven't noticed any problems with the increased negative camber, the inner edges of the rear tyres have worn only a little more than the rest of the tread and the handling is still spot on. I had a wheel alignment done straight after the lowering springs were fitted some 3.5 years ago and it has never needed another alignment since.
This stands in contrast to what happened with my old XFS when I had Eibach lowering springs fitted (about 1" lower at the rear IIRC), the inner edges of the rear tyres then wore out damn fast.
So either the F-Type suspension is more forgiving of lowering springs and/or it was down to the tyres (new MPS4S on the F-Type vs half worn Bridgestone Potenza S01 "pole position" on the XFS).

Powerhouse,

I have been looking for a diffuser such as yours but have had no luck. To my knowledge I don’t think Jaguar separates the R Dynamic package with a separate diffuser. Do you have the rear sensors and camera installed?

BTW, the pinstripes look much better to me than the body colored design.

Powerhouse,

Thanks very much for the reference. From your picture, I would imagine that you added a bottom lip to the diffuser. Is that correct?

Mine is just the stock, non-carbon fiber, and now I am playing with the idea of painting the flat panels gun metal gray and then running a pinstripe along the top and bottom as you have on yours.

Nice , The diffuser comes as you see from factory, the bottom side splitters are from Maxton Design

Powerhouse,

Maxton informs me that their rear splitters are out of stock for the moment so I went with a quick remedy and added a red stripe. The splitters are 59 pounds but the shipping is another 50. Petty crazy so I am on the hunt for an alternative source.

Looks good, when you get the diffusers you could add strip on as I did on mine, would look good, I see that there out of stock on Maxtons home site have you tried their eBay site says 2 sets available but I would message first to make sure, another site is https://www.royalbodykits.com/produc...-jaguar-f-type but I would message to see stock to. EBay would be first option
eBay item number:

Default Pin-Striping Tape Product?

Your pin-striping looks super in these pics, powerhouse! I'm curious if they were painted in place? If not, what product are you using there? (brand, width of tape, etc.)

Is there a pin-striping tape product that anyone has used that holds up well and does not inflict permanent damage to the clear-coat?
