Default Aftermarket temperature gauge

Has anyone installed an aftermarket OBD- or thermocouple based temperature gauge?

Given Jaguar's weird decision to apply a huge dead zone around the console temperature gauge, I'm mulling over the benefits of adding a 3rd party gauge before I do an engine tune.

You'll need to tap into the coolant system with a thermocouple. I don't believe the Jag OBDII makes water or oil temp available. I would take either. I'd also like to see boost and IAT.
