Not true.
Replacing the pads and rotors is very easy. I recommand the green stuff brake pads. Rotors of your liking is whatever design you want. I went with the slotted and crossdrilled with zinc coating to prevent rust. Looks great after a few thousand miles already...
Anyway, replacing the pads easy....if you've done a brake job before on another car, these are no different.
Rotors, once the caliper and caliper holder braket have been removed, the rotor slides right off...reverse oder for installation.
Follow the brake pad recommended break in procedure and you won't have any problems.
For the rear, it's the same except you will need a special tool to rotate the piston back into the bore to install the new brakes.
