Default Aftermarket warranty recomendations

Does anyone have a warranty person who can rate the F Type.

my person tried to rate a 2016 and he cannot because the VIN flags as Canada.

We are possibly interested in getting an after market warranty after we get our Jag.

Aftermarket warranties, from any company, are absolute trash. I've had multiple, every single company, no matter how well you think you've researched them, will fight you tooth and nail if you ever try to file a claim. You're better off just saving your money or taking the same amount and investing it.

I have to agree, I've never found one that's worth anything. Even with manufacturer extended warranties, you have to check the exemptions carefully to evaluate if its worth it.

I had a co-worker years ago that had worked at a big-box store and he said that he got the same commission on a $300 appliance as on the $30 extended warranty.

Their business model is to collect premiums and refuse claims.

claims will be refused under 'normal wear and tear' approach. Including check engine, suspension problems, transmission, etc.
Pure scam.

I had RED SHIELD bought at dealer and they treated me like a criminal with a recorded phone interview and a phony local "inspector" to reject claim. If it is a known problem they claim it is your fault for not getting it fixed under factory even tho problem never showed earlier.

Take the money you would put towards an extended warranty, put a third of it aside for repairs, use the rest for a nice weekend vacation.
