Default airbag question 2014 v8s

I am in the process of looking at swapping out my round steering wheel on my 2014 v8s for a flat bottom wheel. Are the airbag units interchangable?
As I would prefer not to have to spend extra for a new airbag unit.

Thanks

There are 4 variants of the flat and 4 variants of the round, 2 heated, and 2 non-heated. Both styles adhere to the same VIN ranges, and all the trim, buttons and paddles are universal. My bet would be the airbag fits on them all.

What is the difference of the 2 heated versions? I have a heated wheel will both work for my car?

The difference between the 2 are the VIN ranges. T2R11084PVJ Flat bottom, with heated wheel, to vin k10665. T2R1181PVJ Flat bottom, with heated wheel, to vin k05761.
You could check with the supplier, but the guy in the other thread had went from round to flat and he used his original airbag on his '14 V8S.

I recall reading on the forum a while back that if your original steering wheel was not heated and you replace the wheel with a new one that has the button The wiring harness already has the feature and it will work on the new one. Am I remembering that correctly? Gives an extra option for folks to consider when doing wheel changes and upgrades.
