I know that there are approximately 80 million airbag inflators under recall, and that number continues to grow. I also know that most people will be waiting a long time for replacement.

That said, what happens when an airbag deploys? Do the dealers have the parts or assemblies to replace them, or does the vehicle end up being an expensive driveway ornament until who knows when?
