Default Replaced all hoses, multi cylinder misfire - RESOLVED

Hi all,
My Winter project was to replace all the hoses and plastic bits along with the serpentine belt and pulleys. The tutorial I read said to be careful not to lose the metal gasket between the throttle body and manifold. I assumed that meant it was acceptable to reuse it. I am fairly certain I did everything else right, but when I started the car it idled very poorly and hesitated on acceleration (in park) but seemed to run better at higher RPM. I got a P0300 code after a bit. I'm guessing I messed up reusing the gasket?
Also for some reason the throttle cable has the throttle body drum open about 1/3 but all I did was unbolt the bracket to the throttle body and reattach when done, never changed the position of the cable in the bracket. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Jack

The throttle body is servo operated internally. Make sure the electrical connectors to the throttle body are fully seated and not damaged.

I didn't realize the throttle cable bracket screwed up and down the sheath, just readjusted it.
I replaced the used metal gasket with a new one. When I took off the intake pipe to do this I Noticed holes in the bellows section, sealed them up for now with RTV and car runs fine now

It's a soft 'crush' design and definitely NOT re-usable.

I've read a few reports of cracks or splits in the intake bellows causing similar issues. Good to hear it's running properly again.

I've added RESOLVED to your thread title to help others troubleshooting similar issues.
