Default Anti roll bars & rear lower arm sizes

I'm trying to get the Powerflex suspension bushings for my 2015 F-Type R V8 RWD but I'm not sure what the front sway and rear anti roll bar sizes are and also the rear lower arm outer and inner bushings sizes. I'm an amateur in this stuff so I can't really measure them myself. Anyone knows?

Numbers 4, 11, 12, and 15

I am bumping this thread from last year, simply because no one ever responded to the OP and to perhaps gain some traction for them and for a new related question to the same topic.

Jaguar F Type (2013+) Replacement Suspension Bushings (powerflexusa.com)

I am assuming the answer to his original question about the front and rear sway bars is the rear is a 17.5mm required bushing and the front is either the 31.5 or 32.5mm version listed on the site. For the rest, with the exception of the one that could have two different lengths, without measuring, there is no way to know for sure.

Question is, does anyone have these installed? Was it worth the price to upgrade. It is a hefty cost by the time you factor in the cost of parts and time to install, of which, none of these are quick. Even if doing it yourself, would take time. Basically is the squeeze worth the juice? I am thinking no.

I haven't done them on my F-Type, but PowerFlex were great upgrades on my Audi TT. Really stiffened things up nicely.

Hey Skizot,

So I actually ended getting the set for the whole car. You're right, for my 2015 F-type R the rear was 17.5mm and the front one I actually got both 31.5 and 32.5mm with the set somehow and my mechanic ended up using the 31.5mm. The one on the rear that could have two different lengths was the shorter one, I forgot the exact dimensions I think it was 54mm.

Now about the actual value of having those. Let me tell you my experience with these was horrible. The squeaking made my car sound like a rusty old car, specially on braking. I for one am not a very intense driver, so I liked the way the normal bushes perform. With these the car was too stiff that even changing lanes felt different. I wasn't comfortable with them at all. Also when going high speed (140km/h+) on bumps or dips on the highway the car would suddenly swerve, it was dangerous. Some of my friends who have these installed on their f-types were saying the alignment wasn't done right because they didn't have these issues, but I went to 4 or 5 different alignment shops and there wasn't much improvement.

In the end I decided to replace them with normal rubber bushes. I got OEM what I could but others came only with the whole arm so I got aftermarket. I remember not finding the front lower control arm bushes so I thought I could leave only those to be poly. But even then the car wasn't driving right. So I ended up buying the whole arm for these and lo and behold the car finally drove good again.

Overall, for me these were not worth it at all, I ended up spending much more than I was planning and my car was in and out of the garage for almost half a year and I only drove with them for maybe a month. I now have them in a box waiting to find a use for them.

I know some people swear by those and really love them, but I would never recommend them to anyone. I guess it depends on your driving style and what you are looking for. If you're enjoying the car as it is, stick to rubber bushings.

Each package comes with grease that must be used to eliminate the squeaking. My guess is that wasn't used. As for the driving experience, interesting. I am one to like a stiff ride, but not a darty one. I assume that feeling went away with rubber bushes being put back in?

I also doubted that when I heard the squeaking, and accused the mechanic of half-assing the job so I bought a tub of specific grease made for poly bushes (I did my research on it before, and got a good quality one I think it was something like Energy Suspension silicon grease I can't recall the exact name) and had them redo everything and put as much of this lube as possible. There was an improvement but the squeaking wasn't completely gone. After that I found a few mentions of tricks like wrapping it with teflon tape but it wasn't worth it at that point for me.

And yeah after going back to rubber bushes the car drove like brand new. No squeaking, no random swerving, and no vibrations in the steering wheel.
