Default Any information on the 2019 F-Type?

Browsing through the forum it seems as if 2018 production has ended and 2019's are on their way. Looking to place an order for an F-Type around February and can't seem to find any information on the 2019's other than this (2019 Jaguar F-TYPE Release Date and Design Specs). Anyone know when we'll be able to order the 19's along with the wait time for them?

If last year is any guide:
1. The press release announcing the new models and their features came out on January 9.
2. By the end of January, there were details regarding colors, options etc. online on the Jaguar site.
3. By February, you could do a build online on the European sites (e.g. UK).
4. In early April, US model pricing was released with the NY Auto Show.
5. In late April, you had access to detailed option pricing on sites such as https://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/2018/Jaguar/F-TYPE.
6. In May, they launched the build & price tool online in the US. You may have been able to order earlier, but you had to wait until May to build and price on the Jaguar site in the US.

This is going to be a long wait...

Noting that it’s still 2017, I suspect you should be looking for an f-type equipped with a flux capacitor using Mr Fusion as a power source.

Unfortunately you’ll be unable to drive it at more than 55mph without suffering time-dilation.

Yes?

In the US, a new model year used to start shipping the previous fall (i.e. MY17 would start shipping fall of '16). Then it was summer, now it seems to be spring. I got my MY14 F-type in June of '13.

Similarly MY2016 cars were first arriving around March 2015.

Dealer just reached out, looks like I'll have my MY19 in June/July. Man that's a loooong time to wait.

I believe the DeLorean could do above 55 without time dilation AS LONG as the flux capaciter is not engaged!

Cheers!

Wow that’s a long wait I was hoping to get my car by May. I might have to buy off the lot then...

Any idea if the manual will still be available for the 2019 MY? When I looked around for 2018s they were very hard to find, especially R-Dynamic coupes.

They should be but you would probably have to special order the car to get the spec you want. Dealers don’t have many manuals in their inventory.

Hi JuneBug,

On October 30, 2017 we gave our dealer a deposit for a 2018 coupe. That long story is here:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...rdered-193629/

The Short story is he said the following a few days ago:
"Here is what we have as of today. Dates show Job1 January 2018(That is assembly start). If assembly begins late January they should start arriving at dealership by March. They will update those to actual dates once they open up the actual order bank to us to enter our orders."
I'll update this when I hear more news from our dealer about 2019 F-Types.

Happy Waiting,
Bill

Default Tentative Order Date in February

Hi,

Our dealer just informed me "we may be able to order the 19 model year F-Type next month.".

Stay Tuned,
Bill

My dealer just emailed me, will be able to put my order in MARCH. I put my deposit down in November, order in March, delivery June/July. This is too much to put up with, but I'm too in love with this car, so looks like my order goes in March.

Wow that’s a hell of a wait. I don’t have your patience so looks like I’m going to have to purchase off the lot.
