Believe the old ones expired 3/31. Curious if the new ones are out and what they are for the 16 F Type Rs?

 

That's not likely at the beginning of a model year, and going into the summer driving/buying season. I wouldn't expect to see anything until the Fall.

However, if sales were to unexpectedly slump, that could change.

 

Last year the discounts were offered early in the MY (July 15) and were continuous throughout the remainder of the year. Could happen again this year. JCNA was expecting an announcement from JLR at JCNA's AGM (annual meeting) in March, but JLR only hinted that another would be forthcoming. The dealer should be issued a JSO Bulletin regarding any club discount before the club is notified.

I will email Jack and get a more legible pdf version of JSOB15-37 to post, but it seems the $2500 discount is only good for MY14 and MY15 (bummer).

 

Praying they'll add MY16 not too much later this year (but not hopeful).

JSOB 14-81 became effective on or about July 15, 2014.

 

Where does the PIN for the Customer PIN verification come from?

 

With your club membership number in hand, the dealer contacts JLR and they issue to the dealer the PIN for your transaction discount.

 

Does anyone have JSOB15-37R? I have been told it will apply to MY16.

 

After a lot of wrangling with the dealership, and much background support from JCNA, the $2,500 discount ultimately got applied to my 2016. So, I believe the discount applies to MY2016 F-Types.

 

Good point. I look forward to hearing of anyone offering same, and would be particularly interested in their location.

It's important to stamp out discounting in order protect residual values...

 

Jarod, how did you happen to come across a variant of JSOB15-37 with the "R" attached?
