Unless you plan on hacking up your hood by a bodyshop...they won't fit. The hood is stamped differently on '16 AWD V8s as the engine sits a little higher to accommodate the AWD system.

Yes, good catch. I was just about to post that the shape is different.

Jaguar USA Accessories Online Catalogue. - F-TYPE - EXTERIOR - EXTERIOR STYLING - Hood Louvre - Carbon Fiber, Right Side, AWD

Am I safe to assume the early flat mesh on the '14 are the same hood cutout as the gen II?

Here's another option but as I look at it, it looks too aftermarket, not really feeling it.

Jaguar F-Type Supercharged Mesh Hood Louver set (bright stainless or paint finish options) 2011-2016 - Mina Gallery Inc

2014-2015 V6, V6S, V8R, V8S cutouts for the vents are the same.

But if we do have a dealer that will give up shop rate it would be good to know.

Check out the dealer in Columbia, SC. They sell on eBay at a decent discount. I bought a set of F-Type luggage from them on a Sunday and had it in my hands on Tuesday. They also have listings for mats, etc.

You read my mind, why on earth would they add a tacky chrome "SUPERCHARGED" plate on top of the mesh grilling when the mesh itself allows the "SUPERCHARGED" from the engine cover to show. Thats like dipping apple slices in applesauce. Or how about wearing a t-shirt over a dress shirt. Or how about adding water to beef jerky to try to make steak.

I don't get it.

I have a set of the black flat mesh (V6) style RWD hood louvers in perfect condition if anyone is interested. I swapped them out for the V8 style.

I also have a set of 18" Velas mounted and balanced on the OEM Conti extreme high performance tires w/ 2K miles on them as well. They are also in perfect condition w/ no dings or blemishes. They'd be perfect for anyone w/ std brakes, who'd like to have a 2nd set mounted w/ winter or all-season tires.

If you are looking for a spare set of Gloss Black "R" style louvers, I have a brand new set that came off my previous car.

PM me if you are interested.

I would consider taking the wheels off your hands. How much are you looking to get for them? I would not need/want the tires.

Hey Foosh, I like what I did to my V8's but I did want to try painting a set of the `14's to see if I liked the look better. I'd grab em cheap from you if u had no use for them.

Midwest Tire and Wheel sells refurbished ones for $1600 per set. I'd take $1200 which would also include the nearly new tires and TPMS sensors because I have no use for them. They're currently in shipping boxes sized for mounted tires and wheels.

PM me if you're interested.

I've lost track of the TPMS issues, but I would guess the TPMS sensors that worked with your 2014, may not work with newer models, since they changed frequencies at some point?

Polaris,

The one's I have are exactly the same on 14-17 V6 RWD cars, both S and Base. I know that from having seen Unhingd's 16 V6S.

You can have them for $100 if you think that's fair. They are completely unblemished, clips and all.

Correct, the TPMS on my Vela set won't work except on 14s and perhaps early 15s. The frequency was changed around car #10000 or so (I think).

I'll think on it Foosh. Let me see how the bulgy V8's grow on me after I wetsand them. Need to wait a week or so for the clear to cure.

In fact I'm now thinking of a way to modify another V8 set to get the best of all worlds...

The dimensional hump of the V8 louver with flat area replaced by black racing mesh so "SUPERCHARGED" reveals through the meshing.

Outer hump color-matched to car like the new 4wd models.

Now this would be the ideal louver!
