Question Anyone up for lunch at Sam's Chowder House Jan 1st...?

The wifey and I are itching for a Sam's lobster roll and are headed there Friday, New Year's day for lunch...anyone of you Bay Area peeps interested in joining us?

We plan to arrive there at 11 when they open and would be interested in a cruise afterwards...any takers?

Well I wish I could say the lobster rolls were great but truth be told, we never made it, got to just about Saratoga and was starting to pass some cars when out of the corner of my eye, I see a motorcycle CHP in total shade hiding under the overpass, wrote me for 90 in a 65 and the wifey was pissed, turned right around and she never said a word the entire way back...NOT how I wanted 2016 to start, lol.

Ticket should be wicked expensive, and traffic school isn't an option based on speed...haven't had a ticket in at least 15 years...and then there's insurance.

If traffic school isn't an option, try deferred adjudication, and stay ticket free until it falls off...

Not familiar with that and not certain if it's even offered in CA...

Sorry Buick . Look at it this way; your next ticket isn't until...2031.

Unfortunately, it's like shooting fish in a barrel and we're all potential fish.

Best regards and here's to a ticketless future.

Thanks Jay...I know it's the luck of the draw, I was in the wrong place at the wrong time doing precisely what I shouldn't have been doing!

Wifey just reminded me that was the only cop we saw on the 125 mile round-trip...figures.

Please don't be so hard on yourself Buick. All - or, rather, most - of us here have simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time (when it comes to exceeding the stated speed limit) and/or experienced the wrath of our significant other. Unless you were driving recklessly - and I'm quite certain that you were not - what you did, when put into perspective (and given the s#%^ the world is in) pales in comparison. It is, like another Forum members "first scratch", inevitable.

Best regards,
Jay

Thanks Jay, I appreciate the kind words.

Pretty much a sleepless night...as I figured it would be...but back on the treadmill and working the weights this morning got my mind off it...what are you going to do, can't be changed.
