Default Appreciating Value for F-Type R?

I'm starting to wonder if the future 4 and 6 cylinder F-Types will push up the price of the used V8 cars, if no V8 is offered going forward. Hard for me to fathom our cars without a V8 option. I don't see the American market going for the 4 bangers in any case. What do you think?

I think maybe the orginal 2014 and 15 v8 may go up. Rear wheel drive v8s was only made for 2 years so rarity and rear wheel drive type R only made for a year so also for the rarity, but its a very small chance

I don't expect any F-type, and this includes project 7, to appreciate before 2050.

Wonder if my 37 year-old F-type will still be going, driven by an 86 year-old geezer...

The real question is when will they level-off. I am guessing 11-12 years from now, picking up a used F-Type V8S with a broken center AC vent won't cost a whole lot.

To me it does not matter since I have no plans of selling my 2015 with a vintage infotainment system, RWD, and a noisy V8. I plan to drive it!! I will enjoy the money I spent with a HUGE grin

Mine will be lovingly flogged routinely on the roads with great joy as close to pristine as possible. Or......bubble wrapped in my garage! Nah I like the former better.

My dilemma is whether to get buried in it or pass it along to one of the nieces/nephews.

I'm a pretty positivity person, but my magic 8 ball says "no chance".

Unless we have the bar really low or are in it for the "too old to have sex or want it" run. I just watched a loaded 14 V8s with my exact specs sit on eBay forever @ 60k. It had 13k on it. Pretty sure sticker was 104k. It's a year older than mine, but c'mon! Painful.

I imagine trade bids on a '14 V8 would be in the low 40's.

Yeah depreciation and mileage really hurts. I am hopeful however. I own an orange RWD R which is becoming rarer and rarer the more F-types currently on the market. I keep telling myself that one day, I'll be rolling in the offers! haha.

Jag making a lot of body styling changes that are mistakes IMO will hopefully drive up the price on earlier models.

it looks like the list prices (cars.com) on the 15R is starting to level off a bit. not sure what actual transaction prices look like.

i keep an eye on this every week or two.

I also have a firesand (orange) '15 R. The color seems to be very rare to see on the road. I have the black pack and black rims. Maybe it will appreciate in value within 25 years...maybe not.
