Default Armrest bezel removal

I bought replacements for the sticky trim pieces that surround the seat controls and door handles. Do these just pop off, or do the door panels have to be removed? Any advice would be appreciated.

You will need to remove the door panels. It’s actually quite simple - you will need 2 torx bits (can’t remember the torx sizes, but the larger ones are the one that can only be seen from underneath the door and the smaller size is for around the door edge (side and bottom). Now, here is where it gets tricky, that trim piece around the power seat control has a bunch little clips to separate from the inside panel that houses the switches. Just get a couple micro flathead screwdrivers and be careful separating. It’s not super delicate and the tabs are surprisingly tough but always good to exercise caution. A forum search will yield the places where the door panel is attached and where you need to remove panels and tabs to access them - jag did a nice job of concealing them. Any questions, feel free to reach out, I removed mine to do carbon fiber trim and removed the larger surround trim and painted piano black.

Much appreciated. The piano black looks good. I might have to try that color.
