Default Asking for a huuuge favour from one of our US based members!

Long story short, I had a minor prang in the F-Type last night and a stray piece of metal roadworks furniture punched a hole clean through the gloss black "deflector" bar under the grill.
I've done some research, lodged an insurance claim and had the repair assessed, and removed the broken piece today just to see if I can replace it myself (I can!!). Bottom line, it's much cheaper for me to source and fit the new part myself, seeing as my insurance excess is $1,200 AU and the part retails for around $200 US.
The part number is T2R3562.
Now, the point of this screed - there are a number of sellers of this part in the US (and none in Australia) but I'm having trouble finding any which will post it to Australia.
So I'm wondering if some kind soul in the US can buy the part for me and post it to me ? I am happy to bank transfer the calculated total cost including estimated postage, with a bit extra on top for the trouble.
Any takers?

T2R3562 is the gloss black variant of the centre lower air deflector (the bit below the grille). From your description it sounds like you need the horizontal plastic cover that actually sits across the centre of the grille itself. Is that correct? If so there are different parts for with and without front parking aid.

T2R2828 - gloss black, with front parking aid
T2R2827 - gloss black, except front parking aid

For the avoidance of doubt those are part 12 in the attached diagram. Please check if that is correct.

I can get you a quote for shipping direct from the UK, which given our pound sterling has dropped significantly against the US dollar recently may work out a bit cheaper for you. I would expect to pay the shown price in GBP for export + shipping. If interested please PM me with your shipping address and I'll request a quote.

Thanks Dave, I made a mistake in my original description of the damaged part, post now edited.
It is definitely part # T2R3562 I am after.
And yes please, get me a quote on this part including shipping to Oz, PM to follow shortly.

Ok, makes sense now! T2R3562 is the gloss deflector. I'll get back to you with the direct shipped cost asap.

If I can't get it direct shipped or the cost is too high I can buy it delivered to me and ship on to you via economy OCS/post on a 5-7 day service at cost for £139. (I am VAT registered so I can reclaim the tax by exporting to you.) £139 = $170 US = $222 AU. (Plus whatever your local taxes would be when you receive.) How does that compare to your US sourced costs?

Annoyingly I removed that same part from my car when I fitted the accessory CF front splitter, but I've just checked in my garage and I cannot find what I did with it! I just can't think where else I would have stored it, so it is possible it was accidentally thrown out.

I've attached the accessory fitting guide to this post as it shows the process if you will be fitting it yourself (or having a local shop do it for the first time). You do need to follow the steps exactly - and a heat gun on a low setting to warm the part up and make it flexible will make the job a lot easier as they tend to deform when off the car and are a real pita to fit without any gaps otherwise.

Thanks Dave.
I found them for around the $185 US mark from three US sellers, and 126 GB pounds from one UK seller, without any shipping cost, so if you can get one to me for $170 US total that would be fantastic! No local taxes or duties to pay, our import duty/excise/GST kicks in at $1,000 AU. And thanks a lot for the fitting guide, I really struggled with the two central fixing screws on the item itself, I now see that it's best to remove the intercooler undertray/cover first and then those screws are much easier to get at.

I can ship it for less than my supplier so I've got one on order to ship out to you early next week for £139. I'll PM you to check the address, etc.

Yep, my repairer can source this part from Sydney for $389 AU and he thinks that was "cheap", when Dave can get it to my door for around $220 AU.
Needless to say I have already advised my repairer not to order the part, and I will now cancel the repair job and the insurance claim and DIY it.
I am in the process of making an appointment with my favourite mobile paint repair bloke, he has done three jobs for me in the past all top quality work at reasonable prices, and I expect the quote on this job to be no more than $200 AU.
So all up I should have the car back to new within two weeks, as opposed to several weeks with the repairer, for a total cost of not much over $400 AU (plus a few hours of my own labour!), saving me nearly $800.

Update - paint repair bloke quoted $176, so with any luck the whole thing will come in under $400, good result if I say so myself.
Only downside is the paint repair bloke can't fit me in until late November, but in the meantime I have done some running repairs using touch-up paint and a Quixx kit and the scratches are now 50% less noticeable.

Update.
The part arrived this morning, nicely packed and damage free.
It was the correct part, identical in every way to the original.
I removed the damaged one and fitted the new one with very little trouble, it fitted perfectly thanks to Dave's tip of heating it up a bit so it could be bent just a little.
So thanks once again Dave!

Hi Jonathan.

Can you find and link a photo of the exact side sills you are looking for? I think you are referring to the ones attached (the slimline gloss black ones fitted to cars till around mid 2015MY).

If so they are T2R11991 (LH) and T2R11989 (RH). Approximately £240 each side.

The sport design pack sills are T2R16689LML (LH) and T2R16688LML (RH). Same price. The LML at the end means they are supplied primed but unpainted.

But do you know if the part will fit on the F-TYPE v 6 S 2014 coupe (polaris white) where do you buy the parts from? I cant see it on any website and can they ship it to Australia if it fits?

If you can't find it locally David Manners in the UK will ship internationally.

The website is the first hit on google. I'm on my phone so it is not easy for me to copy and paste it here.

The body rocker panel on the V6 is different to the V8, but I am not sure what the difference is. The finishers (the bit you want) are listed as V8 parts for the coupe, however there are no different V6 or convertible parts listed which makes me think they may be the same parts.
