Default Base build price P450

I am exploring different build options for a P450 AWD.
When I use the on-line configurator, all builds begin at $81,500.
I just received 2 actual builds from a dealer where one begins at $79,000.
Does anyone understand the $1,500 difference?
I thought the base build starting point was the same for all P450's.

Most importantly have you asked about market adjustment? Not sure if they are putting on F Types too, but I was in a dealer the other day and the Range Rover Sports had full msrp plus a $20,000 'market adjustment'...

Could it be the dealer is not including the destination charge in the build (but will add it later, since it's not part of the car) and the online configurator adds it in?

No, the destination charge is added later.
Whe I complete the build there is a$1,500 difference that is clearly shown as the difference in the base price.
This has nothing to do with market pricing by dealers - a whole different issue.
I am comparing window sticker pricing to the configurator line by line by line and ending up short $1,500, all in the base build.
Just a bit confused.

Does anyone have the time quoted from order to delivery(obviously a WAG). I am considering a build vs. buying on the used market.

Interesting that the starting price of the P450 is essentially the same as the V6S was at release in 2013 ($81,000).

Met with local dealer in late Jan. to place an order. They did not have an allocation. Allocation came thought mid last month and I was given an estimated build date of mid/late April with an estimated delivery date "end of July".
