Default battery date ident!

Hi all

I know this is probably been asked before, where on the batteries can I find the date of manufacture or tell if my battery is original.
It has Jaguar markings. My car is a 2014 V8 S

If your battery is VARTA as fitted OE by JLR, the manufactured date is on the top of the negative terminal in the format WW YY for Week and Year:

This example was manufactured in Week 23 (June) of 2012.

VARTA changed their marking system over a period of time and now exclusively use a 3-Numeric code:

I've found 5 years to be the average lifespan of a Jaguar OE battery.

2017 S AWD that I got over the summer. As far as I know the battery is original but I do not believe it is VARTA. Labeling is different than in the picture above although I can't take the trunk liner and hold-down off to see the whole label right now. Any other thoughts on how to determine the date of manufacture for other batteries? Although, given the five year life comment I likely need to replace it in the next year anyway.
Thanks.
