I have had my V6 S for almost five months and just noticed today that our start button's a beating heart. Just in case I am not the only one that hasn't noticed. Check it out!!!!! Pretty cool.

Yep, it's a cute touch, and you're not the first to have taken awhile to notice. I didn't see it early on either.

Never sat in the car long enough without hitting the start button to notice. I guess too anxious to hear the start-up.

I like it - a cute little feature. I believe it starts pulsing when it detects your key fob.

It is barely noticeable in the daytime unless you are looking for it and only a little more noticeable at night. If they took the time to create it I wish they had made it brighter.

Hey OZ. You gotta be in the car with your door closed and your foot on the break.

But, you're supposed to put your foot on the clutch before you start the car...not the brake!!

You actually don't need the door closed. I regularly start mine with the door still open.

Who cares? The vast majority of us in the F-Type forum are new to Jaguar, which is a good thing for Jaguar at a critical time. Does that make us inferior in your eyes?

Nope, I added my first comment as FYI, then I was made fun off, which of course you left conveniently out of your quote. I am pretty much done with all your attitudes and unwillingness to accept other view points. You bought a great car enjoy it ... but I am just as sick of you guys thinking you have made the best choice or know everything. No worries I will not respond and ignore your and lhoboy's posts. I appreciate if you could return the courtesy. Motor on ....

My sincerest apologies if I offended anyone... I was just playing around on this thread. Didn't realize that I had pushed very hard on any choices on other threads.. Again, sorry!

No worries. Guess it's my fault. He's just a "D" who wants to know it all. I just had no idea so I thought I would share. Too bad folks get so serious about something someone else points out. I find the forum both enjoyable and frequented by men who want to have a little fun who are not stick in the MUDs like this guy.

You shouldn't be apologizing here. You started an enjoyable thread.

Like I said way up top, I didn't notice it either, and I was delighted when someone here pointed it out some months ago, and I discovered it. It was new to us, just like a baby joyfully discovering something new in the world. I still enjoy seeing it.

okay, can you please explain to me how this is a "DICK" comment, sharing that all Jags and for that matter all Land Rovers have that?

how can this in any way shape or form possibly be misconstrued to be a "DICK" comment when I agree that it looks nice, especially at night and then further mention that all models have it????

And this response from lhoboy is NOT???
