Best place to purschase another steering wheel
Among the many strange things I do when I get a new car is buy a second steering wheel and then have sent out to this company that will remake it for. I do not want thumb grips like having even feeling all around the wheel. They also make it thicker and with a softer leather. Is there a dealer that is known for selling parts for less than other dealers? I have relationships with BMW and Porsche dealers for this type of thing. I had to get my Range Rover wheel from a dismantled car since dealers would not sell me a wheel without installing it. I am going to check ebay as well, but would rather buy one I am certain about. Thanks. Oh and the throttle controller arrived yesterday, hoping to install this weekend.
If you can't find the part in their catalog, call them for a part number and enter that into the search box.

Found a used one that works so that takes care of that issue. Will report on the pedal commander as soon as I install it. I need a day when my wrist is not throbbing in pain to get under the dash and disconnect the gas pedal connector.

If you're going through that much trouble, you may as well get something different.
I think a square steering wheel would be nice. Like in the Vanquish. That's a cool "wheel".
With some additional tuning, VAP was able to get the throttle response just right without the use of a controller. Very linear in normal mode, and very aggressive in dynamic mode. Sweet!
I like having the pedal with multiple ways of control, with the units I am using I can turn it off (when my girlfriend grabs the keys she likes it in her GL550 but thinks the C7 the 650, the RRS and the F type are fine as the are) are or put it in sport or sport plus modes and giving it more or less of the feeling I am looking for. As far as the steering wheel, going with another manufacturers wheel is not as easy as it sound not with all the electronic controls in wheels today. I look for something like this (from the C7), thicker and no thumb grips. Probably a sensory issue for me (another of my strange quirks)
