Default Black cyclones or black storm (rare) wheels

Managed to find a relatively cheap set of storm wheels which i believe you can only buy if buying the carbon fibre brakes, i'm a bit undecided at the mo so tell me what you guys think.

The black ones only. I can't stand the silver ones

I feel like unless you are going aftermarket it's not worth switching from one Jag wheel to another Jag wheel. Unless you really don't like your current Jag wheels. But if it's just borderline better, not worth it...

i'm not a fan of black wheels in general, so i would say the storms. but i agree with shift ... not worth the money to switch to other OEM wheels.

I love the storm wheels and would buy them over any aftermarket option. These are high quality forged wheels.

How much are they?

It disappoints me that jaguar paired the carbon fiber brake package with the ugliest 20" wheel they offered. So I would say cyclones. But if you choose to get rid of your cyclones, let me know.

I will be considering getting a set of 19" rims for my R, just for the fact that there are many more choices (and less expensive) track tires in a 19" than the 20".

Anyone that has a set of slightly used 19's who doesn't want them any longer, let me know!

Really? You mean if you bought a base car with 18" Velas, and you found a set of 150 mile, 20" Gyrodynes mounted and balanced with the OEM tires for $3K, it wouldn't be worth it?

I disagree. It was well worth it.

I agree with you. I think his point may be whether it would have been cheaper to upgrade when you ordered the car. But a lot of people are buying of the lot these days so these wheel swaps are necessary.

Neither. Tornados are the most elegant black wheels they do if going with the black pack also:

I have the 20" blade wheels on my IRR with black pack. I reckon they look awesome and the best part is they don't show the brake dust. I also like the car in fibre inserts on them

No doubt they would look nice, but it would look like every other ftype with those wheels. For me, if I was changing wheels, I would spend a little more and go aftermarket.

Different context if you're changing size. I'm talking about going from 20 to 20 (or 18 to 18). I'm viewing it from a "uniqueness" POV. If I'm going to be spending $$$ then I might as well try to get something more unique/different (aftermarket) rather than something than OEM. In your case, it's not really about uniqueness...you just want the 20 inch OEM wheels instead of the 18...

By June or July, I'll have a set of fully mounted and balanced set of 19" propellers (and late model TPMSs) with less than 20 miles on them for sale.

Considering that there are only 7K F-Types in the entire US, worrying about lack of uniqueness is misplaced anxiety. I live in one of most densely populated and affluent areas of the U.S., and I've still only seen one other F-Type on the road in the nearly two years since it went on sale.

+1. You'll probably see more of the same aftermarket wheels on cars than you will OEM wheels on Jags, particularly since there are so many different wheel options for so few F-Types on the Road.

The good thing is with the F-Type, you can't go wrong either way. They both look great so it just comes down to what you like..

The funny thing is in my area there aren't many F-Types (let alone coupes). However, the one other coupe on the road seems to be the exact same spec build as mine. Doesn't make me like it any less though.
