Spray them with the high temp ceramic exhaust paint. I did that with my motorcycle and it turned out really well.

 

Sorry for not beeing specific ...

I prefere no grinding, welding or painting. Just a sleeve on top of the original.

 

Oof. Good luck then - post pics and we can all ooh and ahh over your purchase. I appreciate how some can afford this option, but 12 bucks and a bit of time later and I'm more than happy with my tip painting results to match the lower diffuser.

That's just way to big of an expense for exhaust tips, but just my opinion.
