Default Black Vinyl Trim Under Window

I have a spot just under the driver's side window on the black vinyl trim that has faded. Not too bad, but want to fix it. Not sure what the previous owner did that this has happened. I tried using Mothers Back to Black, but that did not get it. I think I need something with black dye in it. Just checking to see if anyone else has fixed something like this.

Cerakote for Auto Trim which you can get on Amazon... Can be used on all plastic trim and is like putting a clear coat finish on it. Takes some practice to wipe on and whatever you do don't try wiping more on while still tacky... Almost impossible to get smears off..... Washing and waxing and rain doesn't effect this... Did my faded trim 2 years ago and is still like new.... Example is black plastic on edge of door mirrors... The top of mine was faded and this stuff made it bright black again... A very little goes a long way... Comes as wipes and they give you plastic gloves.... Just something you might consider.... Very glossy though.... Also be very careful not to get on paint or glass...
