Default Anybody blacked out their side window trim?

Looking at the car there is no stainless trim around the front windshield or rear hatch window, so does it make sense there shouldn't be any stainless trim around the side glass? I was thinking of black chroming mine but if somebody has pictures that has done this love to see it!

Try using black electrical tape over the trim to see if you like it. Easy on, easy off.

I had mine done at a body shop, sanded the anodized finish off, prep and paint, off the car.

Others have had good results with black vinyl wrap as well.

Painted mine but I went for an all-out black look. The chrome trim looks good depending on what wheels you have, IMO.

Funny - I always prefer keeping my cars stock, but that window trim always bugged me.
My XF Sportbrake has a black pack (and yes the window trim is black chrome), and the only thing that sticks out is the actual leaper and word "Jaguar" on the back that are both still chrome look - I'm actually tempted to replace with the black-chrome leaper used on some other models.
