Working on the actually solutions in the codding for this, pretty complicated but I think it's doable. In the meantime can everyone running with BMS off chime in on the behavior you guys are seeing ?

I gave up on disconnecting the BMS so @chasers03 will have to chime in - as I mentioned earlier, he is the pioneer.

Must have missed my post, I've already been working on CCF changes related to this.

I have several months ago disconnected my 2016 R Coupe Jag BMS and I [including the Antigravity folks] like reading a constant charge of 93 to 99% & 13.76 V level on my AntiGravity battery tracker app. However I don't like seeing the battery charging fault signs on the dash [I often tap menu and the main, most annoying warning light goes away]. I always [43,000 mi] have a full battery when I start up... It sounds like you 71Camaro have eliminated the charging fault warnings by modifying the BMS coding in the Car Config. File. with a GAP IID tool. Soooo now I guess I need to purchase that tool and somehow modify that BMS coding....71Camaro can you dumb this process down for me? My only goal is to abolish the battery charging warning lights...I'll randomly run Antigravity Battery App for that charging health check....

Not ccf changes , that's going to be very limited. I'm working with raw binary data and factory engineering maps, which means full control of battery charging .

I thank you for your efforts and trust that you will be able to communicate how to do it once you get it right thank you

Messing with binary files is not something to take lightly and not for your avrg enthusiasts. I do it on regular bases since that's what we do when we do ECU tuning . If we're able to get this done properly will release it as part of the tuning solution which can be easily done with our handheld device through and app on your phone in and in your driveway, just like we ramap for power.

Chiming in for an update on this - after doing the battery reset with SDD and having issues where the battery depletes until the car literally dies after shutting the engine off, I've had my BMS disconnected with a PowerTex LiFeP04 battery for over a year now. My car has 0 battery issues (besides the warnings). It starts up strong every time, even when I didn't drive for 2-3 months with no trickle charge in the colder months.

Definitely intrigued by the CCF editing, I have Jaguar SDD but didn't find anything obvious there. Will look into the CCF editing myself.

I too, have a similar experience and look forward to you guys editing/reprogramming the brains. In the meantime, my charging system is top-notch just those annoying lights.
